Max Richter

I just got my piano back and was looking for some awesome minimalistic (don't think house/think the musical stream that was created in the 60's) music to learn to play.

I heard songs by Max Richter before but never really listened to any of his music, mostly his songs came by in movies and I forgot again, but he wrote some really good pieces!

Olafur Arnalds - 3055

This guy really deserves more attention for the beautiful music he produces. Imagine being only 23 and writing pieces like this. I'll go as far as calling him as much of a musical genius as Beethoven or Mozart in their days.
I will go watch him live in Gent, Belgium during the summer, can't wait!

I discovered this music through a friend, you guys have to listen to it, it keeps amazing me how much talented musicians Iceland is producing. On a country with a population of 300.000 people they have so many great artists.
